Sitcom from Oldcastle, Co. Meath
by CONMAN on August 4th, 2008
As some of you may know, I was in Oldcastle for the annual Le Cheile Music & Arts Festival. A great event as usual and spoke to John Stewart Jr. about the progress being made with Meath’s first local sitcom ‘Time of our Lives’.
For a flkavour, here is Episode 3 which John recommends as the best one - you can see all episodes from his YouTube page but part 1 was so weeeird I did not anticipate the great work that has followed since then. Well done to all especially Davey, Noel, Johnny & Aido.
CHINESE OLYMPICS PROTESTS
by CONMAN on April 9th, 2008
Sports & Politics & CA$H have well and truly collided with the recent protests around the world regarding the Beijing Olympics … well I don’t think the athletes should be punished by boycotting the games - they have been training and preparing their drugs concoctions for years and deserve their right to get high in Beijing.
We had a Chinese respresentative on RTE last nite saying how much they have improved their human rights record in the last 30 years … and he seemed like an honest chap to me … is he right ? I don’t know but I hope so.
However, while we’re on the subject, I do like this Chinese fashion design from Shane McIntyre

Obama Girl aka Obamagirl
by CONMAN on April 9th, 2008
A few months ago I had the pleasure of meeting the Obama Girl while in New York - my site has been getting lots of visitors from Obama Girl fans and hasn’t she done well for herself and for Barrack Obama too !

We’ve been watching the events in the US unfolding back here in Ireland on CNN and want Barrack to go all the way with his girl ! Well … to the White House anyway … !
Bertie Ahern to resign
by CONMAN on April 2nd, 2008
So Bertie Ahern has had enough of youse in the Irish meedja (Irish Media) and will pack his briefcase on the 6th May.
We wish Bertie all the best and I am sure he will have a parting gift for some of youse journalists before he is finished … and here is an indication of what may be on his mind at this difficult time.
CONMAN.tv has a proud tradition of honouring popular Irish leaders such as Charles J. Haughey and his t-shirt became widely popular after it was worn on RTE’s The Panel by Andrew Maxwell.
I don’t believe Bertie is a CONMAN but is just a forgetful & very badly trained accountant it would seem.
Yours respectfully,

April Fools
by CONMAN on April 1st, 2008
Well I have always loved April Fools Day as I adore a good conjob ! Today also marks the day I get back to writing on the conman.tv blog after a few months as busy as a bee with a chain of honey stores.
So where have I been ? Well I have been working for a good cause (saving the planet) and it is now live on the interweb and not robbing me blind of all my time ! Welcome to www.co2.ie & the blog which has turned me from black & yellow to green !
So with all this new CO2.ie blogging experience, hopefully conman.tv will be worth a regular visit from now on.
